This independent medical practice was established by Dr. Powell in 2001 with the goal of providing quality medical care for the residents of Norton Shores and its' surrounding communities along the shoreline.
While pursuing excellence in medical services, we have also succeeded in creating a comfortable and friendly environment for individuals, young families and grandparents.

Dr. Matthew N. Powell
Dr. Powell was born in Union Lake, Michigan. In 1986, he received a Bachelor Degree in Science Education from Grace College in Winona Lake, Indiana. In 1994 he received his Bachelor Degree in Human Biology from the National University of Health Services. That same year, he received his Doctorate of Chiropractic Medicine from the National College of Chiropractic. In 1998, he obtained his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. In 2001 he completed his Family Medicine Residency at MSU/Mercy General Health Partners. He is Board Certified in Family Medicine (ACOFP). He continues to be a Family Medicine trainer for MSU-COM students. He is an active member in the AOA, MOA, and member and past president of the Western Michigan Osteopathic Association.
Thomas LaNore, PA-C
Tom received a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan. He then earned a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Biomedical Science. He attended Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan, where he earned his Masters of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS). He is certified in Primary Care and Surgery.
Kelley Young, MSN, FNP-C
Kelley began her career in the medical field in 1996 as an RN after receiving her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. She was part of Muskegon Community College Adjunct Nursing Faculty. Kelley then went on to earn her Master of Science and Nursing from Michigan State University. She is an AANC Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner
Michelle Bray, MSN, APRN, FNP-C
Michelle obtained her nursing undergraduate degrees from Muskegon Community College and University of Detroit Mercy. She received her graduate degree from Herzing University of Madison, Wisconsin and her Masters of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Family Nurse Practitioners in 2017. Michelle belongs to the American Nurses Association and Michigan Council of Nurse Practitioners. She is Board Certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
